Q1. What is face mounting on Plexiglas?
A1. Face mounting on Plexiglas, also known as “PlexiFoto” is:
• A professional quality print
• Face-mounted with optically clear adhesive onto Plexiglas
• Backed with an aluminum composite panel to keep it rigid and flat
Face-mounting creates a permanent smooth fusion of print and Plexiglas. The result is a striking image in a one-inch thick aluminum frame that gives the impression of floating in air.
Q2. Once I place an order, how will my images be shipped and how long will it be until my images arrive?
A2. For shipments to a residence in the continental United States, you should allow roughly two to three weeks from receipt of your order until delivery, using standard shipping. We ship by UPS Ground unless you request an alternative method.
Q3. What guarantee do I have that my image will arrive safe and sound?
A3. Laura Benson Photography is committed to delivering quality products. If you are not satisfied with the condition in which your purchase arrives, you may return it within 14 days of receipt and receive a replacement image of the same size.
To ensure proper routing, we ask that you return your item via a traceable method. Please pack it the original tube or box and include a signed letter of explanation. Please be sure to specify the nature of the problem if it is not obvious.

Q4. Do you ship internationally?
A4. If you are interested in having an image shipped outside of the US, please contact us before you order via email at

Q5. Can I cancel an order after it has been submitted?
A5. Please communicate your intention to cancel your order with 24 hours of the time of the original order by emailing us at orders [at] laurabensonphotography [dot] com.
Q6. Where are some of the places Laura shoots her images?
A6. Locations that Laura uses for shooting include New York City, Chicago, New Orleans and Miami in the United States, Barbados and elsewhere in the islands, as well as London, Berlin and other locales in Germany and Europe.
Q7. Does Laura use PhotoShop or other programs to manipulate or enhance her images?
A7. All of the images on the site are true images, viewed through the lens and have not been “PhotoShopped” or enhanced in any way after being captured.
